Affim is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead Fraud Decisioning initiatives, building tools to empower fraud-fighting capabilities while collaborating with Product, ML, Analytics and Business teams. You will drive data-driven decisions to improve risk decisions across the user journey.

You will plan cross-functional initiatives, design maintainable systems, mentor engineers, and help shape hiring standards. This remote-friendly role includes competitive compensation and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of software engineering with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience architecting and maintaining complex systems.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Comfort working with Product, ML, Analytics and Business teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
