Job summary

Affim is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the Fraud Decisioning team and drive large, cross-functional initiatives across Product, ML, Analytics and Business teams.

You will design and implement robust systems, review peers, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality, scalable fraud-defeat capabilities while aligning with business goals. Remote-first with flexibility; competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of experience as a software engineer with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience architecting, building, launching, coding and maintaining complex systems.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and work with cross-functional teams.

• Write high-quality, maintainable code and review teammates’ work.
