Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Staff Attorney to join our team. The Staff Attorney will support the Chief Legal Officer and Associate General Counsel with drafting legal documents, performing research, and managing templates and records, under limited supervision.

The role emphasizes contract drafting, compliance support, and providing legal counsel to Navitus staff on business objectives and policies in a remote-capable setting.

Qualifications

• : Completion of law degree from ABA-accredited program preferred.
• : License to practice law required.
• : Some experience in law firm or in-house legal department is required.
• : Highly developed verbal and written communications skills to interact with internal and external Navitus stakeholders on sensitive topics.
• : Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• : Research statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, contracts, and legal codes.
• : Draft, review, and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization.
• : Prepare memorandums and correspondence.
• : Inform the development of Navitus legal changes and provide guidance on legal issues.
• : Provide legal counsel to staff on business objectives and applicable policies.
• : File legal documents and manage digital and physical filing systems.
• : Develop processes for indexing and filing legal documents and managing contracts.
• : Support other departments on contracts, operations and regulatory affairs issues.
• : Other duties as assigned.
