Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Staff Attorney to support the Chief Legal Officer and Associate General Counsel. The role involves drafting legal documents, performing research, managing templates and records, and advising staff on legal implications of business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a law degree, be licensed to practice, and possess strong communication and drafting skills. The position may involve remote work and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited program preferred.
• License to practice law required.
• Some experience in a law firm or in-house legal department required.
• Strong written and verbal communications to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with other employees.

Responsabilités

• Research statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, contracts, and codes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for the organization.
• Prepare memorandums and correspondence.
• Inform Navitus of legal changes and provide guidance on issues.
• Provide legal counsel to staff on business implications and policy adherence.
• File legal documents and maintain digital/physical records.
• Develop processes for indexing and filing of legal documents and contracts.
• Support other departments on contracts, regulatory affairs and operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
