Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Staff Attorney to join our legal team. This role supports the Chief Legal Officer and Associate General Counsel with drafting, research, and analysis of legal matters, and management of templates and corporate records under limited supervision.

The Staff Attorney will draft documents, perform research, and provide guidance on legal issues while supporting compliance and regulatory affairs across Navitus.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited program preferred.
• License to practice law required.
• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal dept.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Participate in and support compliance program objectives.
• Collaborate respectfully with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Research statutes, judicial decisions, contracts, and legal codes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for the organization.
• Prepare memorandums and legal correspondence.
• Inform Navitus of legal changes and provide guidance on issues.
• Provide legal counsel to Navitus staff on business implications.
• Files and indexes legal documents in digital and physical systems.
• Develop processes for filing and managing contracts.
• Support other departments on contracts, operations, and regulatory affairs.
