Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Finance Analytics Engineer to build and maintain the financial data landscape. You will own data pipelines, reconciliations, and reporting for month-end close, ensuring auditability and traceability across Snowflake/Databricks ecosystems.

The role requires strong SQL and Python, deep data modeling, and experience with dbt/Airflow. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Accounting exposure, formal degree or CPA/CMA optional but preferred.
• Expert SQL (window functions, aggregations) and strong Python.
• Deep data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, SCDs).
• Production ETL/ELT pipelines with dbt, Airflow or similar.
• Modern data warehouse experience (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Staff-level scope: led multi-quarter, cross-team initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Accounting and FP&A to support month-end/quarter-end close and reporting.
• Make financial data and pipelines audit-ready with SOX controls and lineage.
• Design and own curated source-of-truth datasets in Snowflake/Databricks.
• Build scalable batch and near-real-time pipelines with Airflow/dbt.
• Define reusable data quality and reconciliation frameworks with SLAs.
• Drive data contracts with upstream teams; mentor Analytics Engineers.
