Coinbase, Inc. seeks a Staff Analytics Engineer in Finance Analytics to set the technical direction for the financial data layer and partner with Accounting, Controllership and FP&A to close books accurately and on time.

You will design curated source-of-truth datasets in Snowflake/Databricks, own scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with dbt and Airflow, and implement data quality frameworks for audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Month-end and quarter-end close support with datasets and reporting.
• SOX controls, lineage, change management and auditor evidence.
• Architecture of curated source-of-truth datasets in Snowflake/Databricks.
• Build scalable pipelines with Airflow/dbt and backfill/runbooks.
• Define data quality frameworks with SLAs aligned to accounting.
• Drive data contracts and mentor Analytics Engineers.

Responsabilités

• Set the technical direction for the financial data layer and partner with Accounting/FP&A.
• Ensure books close accurately and on time through robust data pipelines.
• Design and maintain source-of-truth datasets aligned to the general ledger.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable tooling and standards.
