Coinbase is seeking a senior Finance Analytics engineer to own and optimize financial data architectures, pipelines, and reporting. You will partner with Accounting/FP&A to ensure accurate month/quarter closes and audit-ready data, while driving scalable, well-documented data models in Snowflake/Databricks.

The role demands strong SQL, Python, and experience with modern data warehouses, dbt, and Airflow, with a staff-level track and potential equity/bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Accounting exposure through degree or CPA/CMA.
• Expert SQL and strong Python programming.
• Deep data modeling with modular source-of-truth models.
• Production ETL/ELT pipelines with dbt and Airflow.
• Experience with modern data warehousing (Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery/Redshift).
• Staff-level scope with leading multi-quarter initiatives and mentorship.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Accounting and FP&A to support month-end and quarter-end close, building datasets, reconciliations and reporting.
• Make financial data and pipelines audit-ready with SOX controls and evidence.
• Design and own curated source-of-truth datasets in Snowflake/Databricks aligned to the GL.
• Build and own scalable batch and near-real-time pipelines with Airflow/dbt, including backfills.
• Define reusable data quality, reconciliation frameworks and SLAs with Accounting.
• Drive data contracts with upstream engineering, mentor Analytics Engineers, and build abstractions.
