Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale distributed AI applications that power customer self-service across channels. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions in a fast-moving environment.

The role requires 6+ years of software development with Python/Java, cloud experience (Azure/AWS), and strong expertise in distributed systems, micro-services, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and languages such as Python/Java/C++.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
• Strong software engineering background in large-scale distributed systems, preferably in cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI/ML to real-world business problems with measurable impact.
• Experience with micro-services, REST APIs, and scalable architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Azure Portal and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with monitoring and performance assessments.
