Job summary

GEICO’s Service Engineering team seeks a Senior Engineer to design and deploy large-scale distributed AI applications powering self-service across voice, IVR, and chat. You will build multi-agent systems for intelligent automation and collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in Python/Java, cloud experience (Azure/AWS), and a strong background in distributed systems, REST APIs, and automation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience within Python or Java frameworks.
• 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with architecture and design.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy large-scale distributed AI applications across multiple channels (voice IVR chat).
• Build and optimize multi-agent systems enabling collaborative decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance via best practices in architecture, testing, and monitoring.
• Stay at the forefront of AI and distributed systems research and bring innovations to production.
• Utilize Python, SQL, NoSQL; Docker, Kubernetes, Azure tools and services.
• Share best practices and improve processes across teams
