Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to advance VMware Cloud Foundation operations and management features. You will own architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, observable software in a fast-paced BU environment.

You will work across teams to deliver proactive monitoring, diagnostics, and customer-centric solutions, leveraging AI-driven development and modern tools in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of experience or MS degree with 10+ years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience in an AI-Driven Development Life Cycle (ADLC) and using AI coding agents.
• Proven track record designing enterprise-grade agentic applications and multi-agent architectures.

Responsibilities

• Research & evaluate new technologies for building and delivering new features.
• Participate in architectural design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional distributed teams for product development.
• Guide and mentor other engineers on technology, design, and coding practices.
• Work in an Agile development environment while prototyping ideas into enterprise-grade capability.
• Deliver end-to-end features with high quality, reliability and performance.
