Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design, implement, and deliver operations and management features for VMware Cloud Foundation.

You will own architecture and deliver high-quality software in an agile team, partnering with multiple groups to scale private cloud management and bring proactive monitoring and observability to customers. The role emphasizes solving complex problems, rapid prototyping, and contributing end-to-end delivery with a growth mindset and customer focus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience or MS with 6+ years.
• Hands-on experience in AI-Driven Development Life Cycle and using AI coding agents.
• Proven track record designing and deploying enterprise-grade agentic apps with LLM/SLM models.
• Expertise in Context Engineering, and building RAG and MCP architectures.
• Experience in harness engineering, model routing, tool integration, safety guardrails, and memory management.
• Knowledge of modern AI models and production integration patterns.
• Strong backend, Java, Spring, Hibernate expertise.
• Experience with message queues, event streaming, and caching; OpenSearch and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Angular or React and strong communication skills.
