Job summary

Old Dutch Foods, Inc. in Roseville, MN is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the team and support day-to-day accounting activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger maintenance.

You will backstop rebate accounting, assist with month-end close, audits, and reporting, and collaborate with the Assistant Controller to improve processes while ensuring accuracy and continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting systems and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries, complete account reconciliations, and support monthly accruals and general ledger maintenance.
• Support month-end close activities, including preparation of schedules and analysis of account activity.
• Assume responsibility for rebate accounting, including tracking activity and preparing reporting.
• Analyze revenue and expense transactions and assist with accounting schedules and routine reporting.
• Assist with month-end close, year-end close, audit activities, and filings.
• Provide backup for accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Controller to improve processes and maintain accurate records.
