NuPath, Inc. in Woburn, MA, is seeking a Staff Accountant with accounts receivable experience to join our finance team. The role supports month-end close, invoicing, receipts, and grant or HUD-related documentation in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

You will work closely with the Controller, handling AR aging, rent calculations for group homes, and audits. This position offers a hybrid schedule and opportunities to improve processes using AI tools.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with accounts receivable, invoicing and posting cash receipts.
• Two years of experience in a Staff Accountant or similar role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Calculate rent for individuals in group homes and obtain income documentation.
• Prepare receivable invoices and record cash receipts.
• Deposit checks and make cash deposits at the bank.
• Manage accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare HUD rent recertifications and related documents as needed.
• Assist with annual audits and the Uniform Financial Report filing.
• Support adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and documentation.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Handle special projects and financial analyses as assigned.
