SmartAC in Houston, TX is seeking a Staff Accountant with 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience to support day-to-day operations, AP/AR, and month-end close. The role offers hybrid work both in-office and remote in the US, reporting to the Controller/Finance Lead.

You'll reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, build close checklists, and collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure accurate financials and strong internal controls.

Formación

• 3–5 years hands-on accounting experience in SaaS or tech-enabled services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with full-cycle AP/AR and monthly close.

Responsabilidades

• Process end-to-end AP invoices and payment scheduling.
• Manage subscription invoicing, collections, and cash application.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support month-end close and management reporting.
