The Well-established nonprofit organization is seeking a Staff Accountant / Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy Finance team with high-volume AP processing and general accounting responsibilities.

This temp-to-hire role offers long-term potential and a competitive $30/hr rate. You will review, code, and enter invoices, perform three-way matching, ensure timely vendor payments, and assist with month-end close while collaborating with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience.
• Invoice coding and three-way matching experience.
• Strong AP best practices knowledge.
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV (or similar ERP) experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
• Perform three-way matching (invoices, purchase orders, receiving documents).
• Ensure timely vendor payments and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain organized AP records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end close and other accounting functions as needed.

• Support the Controller and Finance team with additional projects.
