Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and consumers, seeking a Senior SRE leader to own reliability roadmaps and incident playbooks. You will drive automation and collaborate with product, security, and engineering to meet reliability requirements.

You will lead a team of supervisors and SREs, mentoring them to deliver scalable, available services with proactive monitoring and strong governance.

Qualifikationen

• Must have experience leading teams of SREs or engineers.
• Strong cloud and automation expertise across platforms and tooling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals to deliver outstanding service.
• Oversee design/operation of scalable, reliable infrastructure and ensure proactive monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Implement and govern SLO/SLI practices and error‑budget policies with product/engineering.
• Own BC/DR strategy and validation for owned services and ensure audit‑ready evidence of tests.
• Drive automation (IaC, config‑as‑code) and deployment safety (canary/blue‑green).
• Provide real‑time coaching and feedback to team members to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Handle escalated and complex issues and resolve promptly to maintain excellence.
• Monitor compliance with policies and procedures, including data security and regulatory requirements.
• Leverage influencing and negotiation skills to achieve business goals with shared solutions.
• Partner with leadership to develop people priorities and plans aligned with strategy.
• Provide training, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for growth.
