Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years, or Master's with 6+ years.
• Proficiency using AI tools for intelligent prompts.
• Experience managing teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to translate strategy into execution.
• Cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP), scripting/automation (Python/Bash, Ansible/Terraform), observability (Prom/Grafana/ELK).
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop teams.
• Excellent communication to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Promotes open dialogue and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals to deliver outstanding service.
• Oversee design/operation of scalable, reliable infrastructure and ensure proactive monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Implement and govern SLO/SLI practices and errorbudget policies with product/engineering.
• Own BC/DR strategy and validation for owned services and ensure audit-ready evidence of tests.
• Drive automation (IaC, configascode) and deployment safety (canary/bluegreen).
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Handle escalated and complex issues promptly.
• Monitor compliance with policies and data security.
• Leverage influencing skills across the enterprise for cost-effective solutions.
• Partner with leadership to develop people plans aligned with strategy.
• Provide training and development opportunities.
• Conduct performance reviews and feedback.
