Job summary

Citi is seeking a Digital Assets Production Support & SRE Lead to own the reliability and operational integrity of business-critical digital asset platforms, including blockchain-connected systems and high-throughput transaction processing infrastructure. You will bridge engineering, operations, and business teams to resolve complex platform challenges and guide long-term engineering direction.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in production support, SRE, or platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead production support and SRE for mission-critical digital asset platforms, ensuring availability and performance.
• Own end-to-end incident management from detection to resolution and post-incident review using observability tools.
• Identify and define system enhancements by analyzing failures and delivering scalable solutions.
• Partner with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to document impacts and align on delivery priorities.
• Evaluate risk, security vulnerabilities, and platform gaps; propose actionable mitigations.
• Develop automation scripts in Python or Java to reduce manual intervention and improve observability.
• Mentor junior engineers to raise engineering standards in the team.
