Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead incident response, root cause analysis, and platform reliability across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will mentor engineers and drive automation, monitoring, and CI/CD improvements.

The role partners with software, infra, and product teams to prevent and resolve production issues, while ensuring high availability and performance across critical services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in IT service management, production support, or application development.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Design and enhance monitoring, observability, and runbooks to improve reliability.
• Drive automation using IaC, CI/CD, and self-healing techniques.
• Coordinate cross-functional response as Incident Commander during major incidents.
