Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Exposure to or hands-on experience with SRE practices for data management/migration platforms and cloud components.
• Understanding of monitoring, incident response, capacity awareness, and toil identification with trackable SLOs/SLIs.

Responsibilities

• Guides and assists others in site reliability engineering best practices and consensus-building.
• Collaborates to design, develop, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches via CI/CD pipelines.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and post-incident analysis with security in mind.
• Implements infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications under remit.
• Partners to resolve complex problems, addressing issues using SLOs/SLIs before customers are affected.
• Applies AI-driven pattern recognition to identify reliability risks and prioritize toil-reduction efforts.
• Familiar with availability, reliability, scalability, and iterative improvements for applications.
• Identifies roadblocks and explores new technologies to solve business problems.
