Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Senior Resident Care Director (RN) to serve as the nursing clinical leader for the community, overseeing health, wellness and coordination of care to deliver safe, high‑quality resident services.

This role leads all care programs, drives regulatory compliance and clinical excellence through strong team leadership and operational oversight, including assessments, medication management and QAPI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading nursing teams and coordinating resident care.
• Knowledge of state/provincial regulations and standards.
• Strong clinical documentation and quality improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for resident care and manage the nursing team in accordance with state regulations.
• Perform and oversee resident assessments, ISPs and clinical documentation.
• Partner with physicians, pharmacists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Lead medication management, training and performance oversight of care staff.
• Track, trend and report clinical quality data; lead QAPI and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and OSHA regulations.
• Manage department budget, labor and staffing schedules.
• Recruit, onboard, coach and evaluate clinical team members.
• Support infection control and serve as ICC/CLIA Director as applicable.
