Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to lead clinical excellence across the community. You’ll oversee health, wellness and care coordination to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered services.

As the clinical leader, you will drive regulatory compliance, team performance and QAPI initiatives while managing staffing, scheduling and the department budget. This role partners with broader Sunrise teams to support move-ins and overall resident well‑being.

Qualifications

• RN license required with clinical leadership experience.
• Proven ability to oversee nursing programs and care coordination.
• Strong knowledge of regulations and quality improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs.
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee ISP development.
• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians.
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs.
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable.
• Drive QAPI initiatives and compliance with regs.
• Recruit, hire, train and manage clinical staff performance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget.
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness.

Pay Range: 78,208.00 - 107,952.00

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
• Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations
• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness
