Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc seeks a Resident Care Director (RN) to lead clinical excellence in our community. You will supervise the nursing team, oversee health, wellness and care coordination, and ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered services.

You will drive regulatory compliance, implement QAPI initiatives, manage staffing and budgets, and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners to maintain top-tier care.

Qualifications

• RN license and active state registration.
• Experience leading nursing teams in senior living or healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of CLIA and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs.
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee ISP.
• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians.
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs.
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable.
• Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations.
• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget.
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness.
