Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Principal Engineer - Technical Services to join our team on the Sentinel program. This role focuses on leading ADDIE-based training development with SMEs to deliver SCORM-compliant courseware and evaluations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in instructional design, adult learning theory, and technical training materials, with experience in Camtasia, Storyline, and Captivate, and the ability to travel up to 10% while obtaining

Qualifications

• US citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience applying adult learning theories to technical training.
• Experience ADDIE and other training development models for technical disciplines.
• Experience designing learning materials for technical disciplines.
• Experience developing technology-based training products.
• Experience creating formative and summative evaluations for technical disciplines.
• Ability to travel 10%.

Responsibilities

• Apply ADDIE and instructional design processes to develop a new training system.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify knowledge gaps and develop learning solutions.
• Design training products across online, in-person, hybrid modalities.
• Create SCORM-compliant courseware and perform Kirkpatrick evaluations.
• Lead a team of junior training system staff and coordinate with DoD programs.
