Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support the Sentinel Program. The role entails coordinating across the Sentinel SIS team to ensure system integration, verification, and lifecycle robustness.

The candidate will bring DoD Secret clearance, 5+ (8+ for Sr.) years in Systems Engineering, and hands-on experience with interface products (IRS/IDD/ICD) and DOORS. The position offers a full-time on-site role in Roy, UT with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application, current within scope, with recent investigation date.
5+ years experience in Systems Engineering for Principal level, 8+ years for Sr. Principal level.
2+ years experience on large scale aerospace/defense systems across lifecycle phases.
1+ years experience with interface products (IRS/IDD/ICD) and requirements specs.
Experience in DoD EMD phase governance and risk management.
Experience creating and maintaining requirements in DOORS.

Responsibilities

Support and drive system integration and interface definition across product teams.
Lead and mentor cross-disciplinary teams to resolve technical gaps and meet program objectives.
Coordinate SEIT and other integration teams to ensure lifecycle capability.
Participate in planning, verification, validation, and requirements analyses for integrated systems.
