Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. You will support use case development, requirements allocation, and MBSE across large programs, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to mature architecture content.

Ideal candidates have MBSE tool experience, DoD Secret clearance, and strong communication skills; multiple qualification paths exist for Principal or Sr. Principal levels, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of experience (or 3 years with Master’s, 0 with PhD) in Principal role.
• Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application, within scope, with recent investigation.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and SAP access within a reasonable period.
• Experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations.
• Experience with MBSE practices and tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature system architecture content for large programs.
• Collaborate with IPT to produce engineering artifacts and interface definitions.
• Ensure requirements are properly represented in system models.
• Develop and apply model-based engineering techniques, procedures, and processes.
• Contribute to system requirements development and analysis.
