Job summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join the Sentinel program. You will define and coordinate the Sentinel systems engineering strategy, ensuring compliance with military and industry standards, and report status to the SEIT Directors.
The role requires strong experience in requirements decomposition, MBSE, and DOORS, with active DoD Secret clearance and SAP eligibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent).
- Master's degree preferred for Sr. Principal level.
- PhD holders welcomed and considered for advanced roles.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required; SAP eligibility may be needed.
Responsibilities
- Define and coordinate Sentinel engineering strategy and allocation of requirements.
- Decompose and verify requirements across Sentinel program teams.
- Manage system-level information using MBSE tools and ensure government stakeholders' requirements are met.
- Collaborate with SEIT Directors and other units as the subject matter expert on compliance.
