Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeling Simulation & Analysis Engineer in Tucson, AZ to create high-fidelity simulations for missile design and performance assessment.

You will develop modeling solutions, conduct trade studies, and work with cross-functional teams including GNC and Signal Processing to ensure simulation delivery per program schedules. The role requires an engineering or STEM degree, 5+ years of experience, C/C++ programming, and proficiency in Python or MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with object-oriented C/C++ programming.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions and conduct trade studies.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance teams to perform simulations per schedule.
• Provide technical guidance across the product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.
