Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeling Simulation & Analysis in Tucson, AZ.

You will create high‑fidelity simulations for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support, and you will develop modeling solutions, conduct trade studies, and evaluate system performance with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires a degree in engineering or related STEM field, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in C/C++, Python or MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C/C++ and Python or MATLAB.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions, and perform trade studies.
• Collaborate with team members across disciplines to support programs.
• Perform simulation activities with program schedule guidance and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interact with government counterparts as needed.
