Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer specializing in Modeling, Simulation & Analysis to join a multidisciplinary team. You will develop high-fidelity simulations of missile systems and contribute to performance evaluations across GNC and signal processing domains.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with 5+ years of related experience, C/C++ programming, Python or MATLAB, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance. This is an onsite role requiring U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with object-oriented C/C++ programming.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies and evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other teams for simulation activities.
• Provide development guidance and direction to team members.
• Interact with government counterparts as an authority on simulation products.
