Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Modeling Simulation & Analysis to join our Tucson-based Performance Simulation team. You will build high-fidelity simulations for missile design, support flight-test assessments, and drive system performance analysis with GNC and signal processing counterparts.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in engineering, strong C/C++ and Python/MATLAB skills, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with object-oriented C/C++ and Python/MATLAB for data evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight-test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies and evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, signal processing, and other teams to perform simulations per program schedule.
• Develop approaches and solutions across the product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.
• Provide technical expertise for simulation products and interact with government counterparts as needed.
