Job Summary

As a Sr. HR Generalist with the HR New Business team, you will partner with client executives and HR teams, operational leadership, and various functional teams to lead large-scale projects during the people transition of new business openings. Your responsibilities include planning, overseeing implementation, and ensuring continuity of HR processes during the 'go-live' phase, aiming to support the success and retention of new businesses and transitioning associates.

Responsibilities
  1. Project manage the people aspect of new account transitions from start to finish.
  2. Partner with regional operational leadership and senior clients on transition activities.
  3. Coordinate pre-transition activities such as ordering tablets, requisitions, background checks, and onboarding logistics.
  4. Review client contracts and work with background check support to meet screening requirements.
  5. Lead Town Hall announcements and messaging to introduce impacted associates and inform them of upcoming activities.
  6. Present confidently to large groups of associates and client partners.
  7. Conduct onboarding activities for transitioning associates, including meetings, paperwork, and screenings.
  8. Train others on completing associate I9s.
  9. Present benefit offerings and perform benefit analyses for clients and associates.
  10. Assist in recruitment efforts during high vacancy periods.
  11. Support HR setup for compliance initiatives such as employment posters, audits, payroll, etc.
  12. Coordinate management training on recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
  13. Regularly review onboarding processes for improvements.
  14. Contribute as a team player to team success.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) and 2-4 years of HR generalist experience.
  2. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, self-directed environment. Experience in operations, customer service, or healthcare is preferred.
  3. Must be able to travel regularly, up to 80% with limited notice.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  5. Confidence in public speaking.
  6. Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  7. Advanced computer and technology skills.
  8. Ability to adapt to changing environments.
  9. Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership qualities.
