About the Role
As a Regional Recruiter, you’ll play a vital role in identifying, sourcing, and engaging top talent for Americare’s senior living communities. Partnering closely with hiring managers, you will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, refine job postings for maximum impact, and develop strategic talent pipelines. Your expertise in high-volume hiring, ATS analytics, and candidate evaluation will play a key role in building high-performing teams that reflect our culture of care. This remote position requires travel, and the candidate must reside within the assigned territory in Americare’s footprint across Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri.

What You’ll Do
- Recruitment & Talent Sourcing
- Partner with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs across an assigned region.
- Manage job postings in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring optimization for visibility and engagement.
- Conduct phone screenings and interviews to build strong candidate pipelines.
- Utilize social media, sourcing databases, and networking strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Develop partnerships with colleges, job fairs, and community organizations to expand recruitment efforts.
- Employer Branding & Candidate Engagement
- Promote Americare’s mission, values, and culture through recruitment materials and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to create compelling recruitment content.
- Foster strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging experience throughout the hiring process.
- Hiring & Onboarding Support
- Assist in the selection process by conducting reference checks and background screenings.
- Provide support in the onboarding process for leadership hires as needed.
- Train hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, recruitment, and ATS utilization.
- Recruitment Operations & Compliance
- Maintain and analyze key recruiting metrics to track hiring success and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, including anti-discrimination regulations.
- Continuously optimize ATS workflows and provide recommendations for system improvements.
What You Bring
- 2+ years in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources, preferably in high-volume or healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in ATS platforms, HRIS systems, social media recruiting, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing, cultural fit assessments, and selection strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept at networking, partnering with hiring managers, and building rapport across all levels of an organization.
- Understanding of anti-discrimination laws, affirmative action guidelines, and employment regulations.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Preferred: HR or Recruiting Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, TAS).
- Experience in social media recruiting, employer branding, and job fair coordination is a plus.
- Willingness to travel (25%-35%) to Americare communities, hiring events, and job fairs.
Physical & Sensory Demands
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Hand-eye coordination for computer-based tasks and data entry.
- Visual acuity and auditory ability to effectively communicate and evaluate candidates.
Work Environment & Safety
- Remote position with occasional in-person meetings, requiring reliable internet access.
- Must be located within Americare’s operational footprint and available for regional travel.
- Adherence to safety policies, including proper use of equipment and participation in drug and alcohol testing procedures.
