Job description
Responsibilities:
Complete complex software development assignments, including integration between multiple applications, based on documented technical requirements and design specifications.
Create and execute unit test and system integration test plans to ensure software quality and requirements fulfillment.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
Lead the Avaya IVR software development lifecycle for custom applications, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Support and maintain Avaya Voice applications and third-party solutions, resolving complex issues.
Manage Avaya Experience Portal (Rel 7+) including administrator tasks, API/web integrations, backups, and call flow design.
Troubleshoot applications and gather requirements to design and test voice and SMS campaigns (Avaya POM Rel 7+).
Administer core applications, including upgrades, troubleshooting, testing, and reporting.
Monitor and manage system performance and customer requests via Service-Now.
Coordinate with vendors on application patching and major releases.
Support third-party applications like Workforce Management, Call Recording, Knowledge Management, IVR monitoring, and Auto Dialer systems.
Engage in customer service initiatives, understanding requirements, providing recommendations, and supporting planning.
Manage support issues, outages, and vendor interactions to ensure service continuity.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience with Avaya AEP, POM, Breeze, CBA, CTI, CMS, and Survey systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and remediating issues within Avaya voice solutions.
Experience in building IVR applications using Voice XML.
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Experience with Eclipse, Tomcat, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Web Service Integration.
Preferred: Skills in VUI design, open architectures (VXML, CCXML, GRXML), middleware, telephony protocols, Nuance TTS engine, and bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish).
