Job description

Position Description:

We're looking for creative thinkers and innovation seekers who are committed to making a difference. The role of a Senior Compensation Consultant is within our Human Resources Department.

Summary

Collaborate with managers and leadership to maintain consistent, accurate, and timely compensation consultation. Analyze compensation trends, guide annual planning, develop data presentations, and partner with the Budget Office during fiscal planning. Work collaboratively with HR leadership.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Provide solutions for complex issues and oversee communication and implementation of compensation policies.
  2. Measure program effectiveness to meet organizational objectives.
  3. Manage HR modules in HRIS/Workday.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  5. Submit salary surveys, analyze labor market data, and assist with wage and salary guidelines.
  6. Design, implement, and communicate compensation programs, including incentive and merit plans.
  7. Review and analyze requests for new or revised positions for salary grading.
  8. Conduct market pricing and maintain wage guidelines.
  9. Maintain job descriptions and employee files.
  10. Perform job evaluations for consistency and appropriate classification.
  11. Assess departmental budgets during the annual cycle.
  12. Analyze granular data, summarize findings, and present to stakeholders.
  13. Support organizational leaders with reports and business analysis.
  14. Research and measure competitive pay practices.
  15. Use databases and software for data analysis and presentation.
  16. Create visual data displays for executive reporting.
  17. Handle compensation inquiries and delegate as needed.
  18. Coach team members and complete special projects.

Remote work must be within registered MCW payroll states, including WI, AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN, TX, and UT.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, confidentiality, integrity, and organizational skills are essential. Ability to conceptualize, prioritize, and maintain professionalism in all interactions.

Position Requirements

Qualifications: Experience may substitute for education.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Experience: 3 years
Preferred Certification: CCP

Target salary range: $74,500 - $94,900 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
