Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Finance in Clearwater, FL is seeking an experienced Senior Collector to join our on-site team. You will handle charge-off accounts, perform skip tracing, and work to arrange payments while upholding regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned charge-off accounts for collection steps and decisions.
• Skip Trace to locate collateral and/or debtor.
• Make daily outbound calls to set up payment plans or settlements and provide information to agents.
• Determine value of vehicle vs recovery costs and how to resolve the account.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal collection laws and company policies.

What You’ll Do

• Review all assigned charge-off accounts for collection efforts and make decisions on next collection step
• Skip Trace – locate collateral and/or debtor utilizing authorized websites
• Make daily outbound calls to customers, agents, and various individuals to set up payment plans and/or settlements, confirm location of collateral, and provide information to agents
• Determine value of vehicle vs cost of recovery and how to resolve the account
• Comply with all state and federal collection laws including company policies and procedures
