Description

Job Purpose

The Sr. Commercial Logistics Analyst, under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Logistics Strategy & Analytics, is responsible for coordinating transportation bids, contracts, departmental project management activities, and related data maintenance.

This role partners with department managers to develop Requests for Proposal (RFPs), facilitate contract terms and conditions based on business needs, and prepare executive-level presentations for approvals with Executive Management and MOBIS Korea SCM within established timelines and company policies.

In addition, the Sr. Commercial Logistics Analyst tracks project initiatives through Smartsheet, conducts regular project meetings, monitors deliverables, and supports cross-functional follow-up to ensure projects are launched on time and objectives are achieved.

Key Accountabilities

Transportation Bids & RFP Coordination

• Coordinate RFP data collection and business requirements for carrier bids and market studies.
• Partner with department managers to compile bid requirement documentation.
• Pull and maintain supplemental data and related materials for submission to the SCM team in Korea, as needed.

Contract Administration

• Facilitate carrier contract drafts with internal and external stakeholders to support timely execution of new contracts and amendments.
• Manage the internal approval process.
• Circulate final drafts for executive signatures.
• Maintain executed contracts in accordance with document retention requirements.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Lead and manage key departmental projects and business cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments, internal stakeholders, and management to ensure complete analysis, data integrity, cost-impact assessment, and timely task completion.
• Proactively schedule meetings.
• Track tasks and initiatives using Smartsheet.
• Provide ongoing updates regarding activities, risks, open issues, and project status.

Strategic Analysis & Business Case Development

• Develop strategic analyses and executive-level business case and project review materials.
• Present project background, scope, data assessment, benchmark information, recommendations, and projected benefits in a clear and concise manner.

Data Management & Validation

• Support data integrity by extracting, maintaining, and validating departmental databases.

Key Performance Indicators

• Manage timely submission of bid requirements to Korea.
• Obtain contract approvals prior to the expiration of existing contracts.
• Track progress and project activities within Smartsheet.
• Publish executive-level reports with consolidated project roll-ups.
• Continuously improve and refine project management processes.
• Successfully manage projects to completion within established timelines.

Major Challenges and Key Decisions

• Coordinate multiple high-priority transportation bids, carrier contracts, business cases, and departmental initiatives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across projects and business cases.
• Monitor project timelines and identify risks, delays, or dependencies.
• Align internal departments, Legal, carriers, executive leadership, and MOBIS Korea SCM to achieve business objectives.
• Prioritize project deliverables and competing business needs.
• Determine when issues require escalation to leadership.
• Validate bid requirements and contract documentation.
• Recommend actions that support timely approvals, carrier service improvements, cost control, and successful project completion.

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Flexible schedule at the discretion and approval of the manager.

Required Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of Commercial Planning experience required.
• 1 to 3 years of Project Management experience preferred.
