Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator for Self-Perform Operations (SPO) drywall estimates, bid development, and risk analysis. You will coordinate with Preconstruction to resolve issues, manage documents, and lead bid processes for various contract types.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of estimation experience in drywall/specialty trades, with proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of detailed estimates for drywall, framing, and related trades.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
• Ability to read, interpret contract documents, drawings and schedules.
• Proficient with estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed SPO drywall estimates from drawings and specs.
• Develop labor productivity rates using history and project constraints.
• Prepare and assemble drywall bids for Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost Plus.
• Identify design risks and work with Preconstruction to resolve them.
• Lead document management and distribute to stakeholders.
• Attend constructability reviews and communicate issues to the team.
