Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Estimator ( drywall ) to prepare detailed SPO drywall estimates from construction drawings and specifications. You will communicate bids and scopes of work, coordinate with the Preconstruction team, and develop labor rates based on history and project constraints.

Role involves collaboration, risk assessment, and bid management. The position requires at least 3 years in estimating for specialty scopes, a relevant bachelor's degree or

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of detailed estimates for drywall or related trades.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field (or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Proficient with MS Office and estimation software; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed SPO drywall estimates from drawings and specs.
• Develop labor productivity rates with data and project constraints.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for pricing.
• Prepare drywall bids and proposals for multiple contract types.
• Identify design issues and risks; propose solutions with Preconstruction team.
• Analyze project schedules for sequencing risk and prepare labor-loaded schedules.
• Lead document management and bid recording; participate in post-bid reviews.
• Support procurement with bid awards and kick-off project operations.
