Turner Construction Company is seeking a skilled Estimator to prepare detailed SPO drywall estimates from drawings and specifications for Cleveland projects. You will perform quantity take-offs, develop labor productivity rates, and assemble bids for multiple contract types.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Preconstruction, procurement, and project teams, with opportunities to supervise junior staff and contribute to value engineering and risk analysis. Some travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering/Construction or related field.
• Read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes, and schedules.
• Knowledge of estimating documents and qualitative/quantitative analysis.
• Able to work with minimum information and develop requirements quickly.
• Proficient with project management and meeting deadlines.
• Familiar with procurement and operations interactions.

Aufgaben

• Prepare detailed SPO drywall estimates including quantity take-offs and studies.
• Generate labor productivity rates using historical data and project constraints.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for competitive pricing.
• Prepare drywall bids for Lump Sum, GMP, or Cost Plus contracts.
• Identify design issues and risks; work with Preconstruction to resolve.
• Analyze schedules for sequencing risk and prepare labor-loaded schedules.
• Lead documentation and file management for SPO drywall projects.
