Job summary

Imperial Beverage, a Michigan family-owned beverage distributor, is seeking a motivated Account Manager to cover the Oakland County area. You will sell beer, wine, and spirits to bars, grocery stores, and restaurants, build relationships, and drive growth with a passion for sales.

You will manage routes, visit accounts, place products, and process orders while taking advantage of a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for travel and advancement within a fast-paced company.

Qualifications

• Must have sales experience, beverage sales preferred.
• Must live in assigned market (Oakland County area).
• Ability to obtain Michigan Liquor Control Commission license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Reliable vehicle and cell phone.
• Flexibility to work varying hours for events and customers.
• Desire to stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sell beverages to customers in assigned territory (bars, grocery stores, restaurants).
• Develop daily plan for routes and accounts, including product placement and samples.
• Greet purchasers and managers, present products, and close replenishments.
• Process orders and upload them for merchandisers.
• Maintain relationships with accounts and grow sales through upselling.
