OrthoCarolina’s Spine Center in Charlotte is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to support front-desk operations and patient flow. You will prepare patient visit paperwork, manage calls, schedule appointments, and handle cashier duties including collecting co-pays and balances due.

Experience with Epic/EMR, strong customer service skills, and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred. A high school diploma or higher is required, with a preference for candidates with clinic experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in a medical clinic setting is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required; experience with Epic/EMR is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful and HIPAA familiarity beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit.
• Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls, makes appointments, and performs cashier duties including posting charges and collecting co-payments/co-insurance.
• Follows the process for release of medical information and completion of FMLA/disability forms as requested.
