Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric therapy in home health settings. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat children aged 0–21, 2+ visits weekly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Texas licensure, CCC-SLP, and pediatric home health experience, with Spanish bilingual skills considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification (Clinical Fellowship year completed).
• Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities, 0–21 years, 2+ times per week as ordered by physicians.
• Define patient speech, language, voice, feeding, and related impairments using appropriate testing tools.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan goals and advise on therapy modalities.
• Modify care plans to meet therapy goals and patient progress.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training and materials.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLPA if you have 3+ years of experience.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must carry valid auto insurance and drivers license.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
