Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric in-home therapy and daytime facility services across ages 0–21. The role involves assessment, diagnostic interpretation, and collaborative goal planning with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, Texas license, and pediatric/home health experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; valid auto insurance and driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• CCC-SLP certification and completion of Clinical Fellowship year.
• Texas licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Pediatrics experience required; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, 2+ visits per week as ordered by physicians.
• Define degree and type of speech-language impairment and select appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and provide guidance on therapy modalities.
• Plan and modify care to meet therapy goals; educate staff, caregivers, and patients; deliver training materials and in-service programs.
• Possibly supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must carry valid auto insurance and drivers license.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
