Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care, a therapy-owned practice in Texas, seeks a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home-based services for ages 0–21, 2+ visits weekly, following physician orders.

Responsibilities include diagnosis, testing, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, plus guidance to staff and caregivers. Texas licensure and CRC-SSL PF completion are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year (CCC-SLP).
  • Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is required.
  • Home health experience is preferred.
  • Feeding experience is desirable and beneficial.
  • Bilingual abilities in Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, 2+ visits per week.
  • Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, and related impairments using appropriate tests.
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written reports.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to set goals and advise on therapy modalities.
  • Plan and modify care to meet therapy goals and interventions.
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
  • May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants if you have 3+ years of experience.

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
  • Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral‑motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
  • In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
  • Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
  • May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
