Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities. You will work with ages 0–21, delivering services 2+ times weekly according to physician orders.

Responsibilities include evaluating speech disorders, interpreting data, and writing reports, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to set goals and interventions. Supervisory duties may apply for seasoned clinicians.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• CCC-SLP certification and completion of Clinical Fellowship year.
• Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21 years, 2 or more times per week, as ordered by a physician.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments by selecting and administering appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and interventions for each patient.
• Plan for and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants if you have 3+ years of experience.

• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
