Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home therapy for children ages 0-21. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing therapy plans with a multidisciplinary team, and educating families.

Requirements: Master's in SLP, CCC-SLP, Texas license, pediatric/home health experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish a plus. Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP credential per Texas requirements.
• Licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21, 2+ times per week.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals; advise and instruct team in modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients via training and materials.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP assistants with 3+ years of experience if applicable.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Feeding Experience a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients'degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
