Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy to children ages 0-21 in home and daytime facilities. This pediatric role emphasizes individualized care plans and collaborative team goals.

Requirements include a Master’s in SLP, CCC-SLP fellowship, Texas license, pediatrics experience, and Spanish bilingual skills a plus. Home health experience preferred. Benefits include medical, CEU reimbursement, PTO, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college.
• Clinical Fellowship year completed with CCC-SLP.
• Current Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Feeding experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21, at least 2 times per week.
• Define patient impairments in speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and fluency using appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to plan goals and advise on speech therapy modalities.
• Plan and adapt care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training and materials for a comprehensive therapy program.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLPA if 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
