Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in good standing with the relevant state licensing board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire; adherence to continuing education on acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across age groups; collect histories and integrate information from patient and caregivers.
• Conduct speech and language pathology assessments using appropriate testing materials.
• Develop and implement measurable care plans; collaborate with patients and caregivers in planning.
• Interpret data to formulate treatment recommendations and adjust plans as needed.
• Coordinate with related therapy disciplines and document care in the EMR.
